I just got engaged to a wonderful man, he wants me to make my life with him at his house that previously was his moms. She passed away, my man took care of her through the whole ordeal. Here is the thing...the house still has all the old style and furnishings of his mom! Help us modernize ha-ha!!! He is a great guy..he has also been taking care of me for 5months after my knee surgery.

My husband passed away 2 years ago. my kitchen is old and very outdated. I don't have the income to make any improvements. It would be so nice to have something new and fresh.

I am currently suffering with depression. Trust me it's not fun to those out there who have never suffered with severe depression. If I won this money I would change my environment where I spend most of my time...my living room. I would make the room brighter and improve my chi (I think that's the fancy word they use.)

I woould sure appreciate winning the room makeover. I'm 61, worked very hard my whole life to raise 4 children alone..when my husband left..& didn't help out financially. Now, I'm retired early because I worked until the body gave out...I have 12 herniated discs, and a shell of a house that remains after raising 4 kids. Everything inside the house needs replacing. The ceiling is held up with duct tape, the floor lost all the tiles from a flood, and the carpet in the livingroom (after 4 kids &4 dogs & 30years,lets just say it leaves alot to be desired) Sure would be nice to have at least 1 room livable. Now that I'm housebound most of the time, and have to look at the 4 walls all day.
Thanks much,
Rosie Kane
