Best Buy in Joplin, MO is a beautiful store, and has lots of goodies, & absolutely gorgeous appliances for your home. The only complaint I have with the Geek Squad is this: Their prices are much too extravagant, and pricey! The professionalism of those young men were impeccable and pleasant! Unfortunately they could not help me with the issue that I had @ that time.

We are very happy with a new 40" flat screen TV purchased at Best Buy, but even more pleased with the excellent customer service. I called store #565 in St. Petersburg, FL where we bought the TV hoping for some help in connecting a DVD player to the TV. Employee D'Angelo Seales persisted in troubleshooting until he walked me through the entire process and I reached a successful connection. He was professional, knowledgeable, courteous, patient, and good-humored as I followed his directions. Amazing! What a perfect example of customer care. Thank you D'Angelo and Best Buy.

My husband and I have been shopping for a laptop and we visited many stores to compare brands, prices, technical support and customer service. We visited Best Buy in Westminster and Jeff was the most knowledgable person we talked to from all the stores we visited. He gave us alot to think about and we went back to ask him questions. On our third trip back we purchased a Toshiba laptop with a Geek Squad maintenance agreement and anti-virus ware. We are very happy with our purchase and highly recommend Jeff for any computer questions.

I am going to sing the praises of your salesman in your Best Buy store, I walked out of Warner's Stellian because I could not get a sales person to acknowledge my presence. Went over to Sears in the MOA and got OK service but the sales person could not answer a single question about a brand or price without looking it up on line. Then my friend and I went to Best Buy and met your salesman. He was very knowledgeable about refrigerators, stove tops, ovens, washers and dryers. He was patient as this 59 yr old lady and friend comparisoned shopped and asked interminable questions. His customer services skills, natural human warmth, and good brain for appliances paid off in a $2,000.00 purchase of a Samsung washer/dryer pair with pedestals. I will definitely be back for my refrigerator and dishwasher.
I spoke to a department manager this morning and she suggested I also post my comments on line.

I was in your store on January 26th, to buy some CD-R's for copying pictures which I had never done before. The sales person was so helpful and courteous explaining which ones to buy. I was in the computer dept. and he took the time with me for such a small purchase. I was extremely impressed.

We needed a new TV and I went to Best Buy Ft. Collins store. Starting at the front door I met pleasant and informative associates. Bought the TV-the squad came-clean, polite and efficient. Out went the old and in came the new- had a minor glitch that management took care of seamlessly.Then there was Jason Schwartz who really went the extra mile to install our TV on a sunday.We will be back.

Employee could easily have been frustrated with my lack of computer world-but he was so professional/courteous and with info he provided I decided now was the time to buy. needed help with my radio for my vehicle...and had an associate named jay p. who worked at the install bay. he had the right attitude even when explaining to a customer over the phone...very efficient, very possitive. didnt take but two to three minutes to solve my problem. hard to find people like that....thanks store 152.

Purchased a NX110 Epson Printer at Best Buy as my other one NX100 gave in on me. Since it was purchased over a year along with a computer it did not have any warranty remaining. Will still continue shopping here as the prices are good.

Unfortunately, our experience was not anything like
the experiences described above. We were there to
purchase a tv and a table to put it on. While the customer
service girl was beyond friendly and very knowledgeable,
our service thereafter was just terrible. First, we were
told we couldn't have our choice of delivery dates. Then
we were told the items could not be shipped together.
Mind you, due to the fact that you had just switched to a
new program, this took over an hour. They, the 3 persons
helping us, couldn't figure it out(really...?). After all
that, they entered the wrong date(!). While waiting for the manager, we attempted to pay, in cash, but was told the
register we were at did not except cash(?). After another
30 minutes, we were told we had to switch dates cuz
you could only ship 1 item 1 day, and the 2nd thenext
next. Finally, 2hrs later, we discovered the table we wanted
was not the one on the reciept. But we were assured, the
right table would be shipped. Now, on the day items
were to arrive, we called to confirm and was told we were
not on the schedule for delivery!!! Luckily, we were put on
for delivery but was told the table we wanted was not the 1
to be shipped! Wth? What is wrong with the staff at the
west Hartford store? Are they just not trained properly?
This was the 2nd bad experience there and honestly?, we will not be back. It's too bad too...my mom likes to spend money.

Best shopping experience in a long time. Thank you Nate at store #375 in Santa Fe. Knowledgable, knew his merchandise, articulate and helped me find accessories for my new I-Pod Touch. More so he voluntered to install the screen protector that I purchased. This young man actually came up to me and asked what he could do to help my shopping experience. This service is so rare now-a-days. In the past I used to shop Best Buy in Albuquerque, but will now go out of my way to shop at #365.

When I entered the store I was directed to the back corner to auto electronics. I waited there for some time then tried to find a clerk. I was not successful so I went up & asked the greeter to send someone to help me. A nice young man came to help me but he was not familiar with the merchandise. He had to ask someone for assistance. It took me about 3 times as long to buy the GPS I was looking for. I was not impressed. We like Best buy for electroincs and geek squad but they will have to do better to keep my business.

My experience with attempting to solve a Best Buy Credit Card problem has been ridiculous. It has been 3 months since my intial purchase and they STILL HAVE NOT attempted to solve the problem. I will NEVER use a Best Buy credit card ever!!

Thank you CHANCY for being very helpful and patient. We were in the store on August 29th purchasing a computer for my son. We had to pay so much by cash and another portion by check and another portion by credit card. CHANCY did not get frustrated with us at all she was very patient. We kept apologizing but she was more than happy to help. My sister forget her glasses and had to sign twice but could hardly see the "X". CHANCY was still patient with us. I work in a hospital and this was truly GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE.

Today, my sister and I went into the Manteca Best Buy, store #1179, to exchange a cam corder for a still shot camera. We were assisted by Martin, who was very open and friendly as well as knowledgeable. I chose the Nikon D3000 over the Canon 35 mm. Martin did what good sales people do; gave us the facts and let us discuss and decide without pressure. Because we are older, sales people sometimes speak to us as if we couldn't possibly get today's technology, but this was not the case with Martin. Also, other sales people in the store were very nice to us, too. My brother in law, who originally made the purchase, spoke very highly of the young woman who helped him (he didn't get her name, though). Alicia, who did the actual exchange, was very efficient and friendly as well. Over all, we had a very positive experience. I hope your sales people get the recognition they deserve.

I have been in retail for many years. My wife insisted we go to Best Buy to purchase a laptop as a gift for our daughter. I was a bit hesitant at first as previous visits there were not met with impressive customer service. However, this night was exceptional. A young man named Eddie assisted us and he was outstanding. He answered our questions in a relaxed and detailed approach, providing us the latitude to evaluate our options and was not the least bit condescending, nor did he disparage other name brands in an effort to 'off load' a slow item. Eddie is a attribute to the need for professional and courteous customer service in these economic times when the customer wants confidence before making the buy. Eddie gave us all that and more.
Because of him I am giving Best Buy a 'thumbs up'. We paid cash and Eddie made sure we went directly to the register which does cash sales and were then met with a very pleasant woman whose name I cannot recall but deserves to be given kudo's as well for excellent service. Well done Best Buy, it turned into a satisfying purchase.

I had purchased a 40" tv for my family for Christmas, and later that month, saw that Target Encinitas had the same tv but 30 less, plus offered the 5% store discount with the red card. I went to Best Buy, and they actually MATCHED the price, and the service professional named Danica, also found a price reduction to start the next day, so lowered it an additional $20.

your Antioch,CA. store and were very disappointed by its performance.
Manager Chris was very helpfull to have it exchanged for a whirlpool
dishwasher instead, which works excellent.
Also, the installer from Pacific West Home Improvement Co.,Mr. Masin did a great job and explaining the basics for the operation.

I visited the 11400 S store to purchase a printer, having done some prior research online. I wanted to ask a sales rep some questions about a couple of models, but could not find anyone available on the floor (this was around 4pm on a Tuesday, and the store was not very busy). Finally I went to Customer Service where I saw about 6 or 7 service reps all chatting and laughing with each other, none of whom were paying any attention to customers on the floor. Told them I needed help with a printer, so one guy came with me -- but he did not seem knowledgable about printers. So I made a decision on my own re which model to get, and he carried it to the front check-out area, and waited in line with me (very nice of him) until the cashier was ready for me. He also carried the printer to my car, which I greatly appreciated. But overall, I was disappointed in not having access to someone who could discuss the pros/cons of different printers -- and disappointed that there was not an attitude of service (eagerness to help) evident on the sales floor.

Mike was extremly helpful and patient with all of my questions. I happened to have a problem with that connection and Rob then helped me by replacing that piece, very helpful.
I dont want to forget Steve the greeter he was also very polite and helpful.

went to best buy to buy a computer and montor had no problem they were helpfull. but i had to wait 1 hour for the salesman to come back from lunch on the telephone he gave me his name as raul but when i met him after his lunch brake he had his name tag removed all i can say was the associate who checked me out was nice his associate number 623319 this was at the 45 street and 5th avenue store so far i am sastifed with my purchase one man even carry my computer and montor and help me get a taxi he worked in the geek squad tom

I shop at the Best Buy In Alabaster , Alabama. The manager as well as the employees always are so very helpful and make shopping a fun time. I enjoy Nikon cameras and I have purchased my last 3 Nikon's from this store among movies, TV , camera equipment etc... I am a fan of Best Buy and have been for years.Thanks for having a wonderful staff and clean store and making shopping an ease.

Rick B went to the oly store and was given great help by the entire crew, Jason got me the right item and althought new got me to a manager who handled my issue promtly and well her name was Ximena. The people at the "PHONE" section were helpful as well.
