I enjoy shopping at Dollar General for the things I need that I know Ian get at The dollar general for less money than any where else.
We have 2 Dollar General her in Our town. One is in town, and one is in the country. Both are within 8 miles of my house. I shop at both of them, and before going to a large grocery store, I go to the General Dollar store. I buy all of my can goods, coffee, sodas, washing liquid soap, softners, bleach, cookies, deodrizers, lots of my apparel and shoes there. These stores you can get things a lot cheaper, and the bread will beat everyone. It stay soft for over 2 weeks. I will never buy bread anywhere else. The employees are always so helpful and considerate. My husband had his blood sugar drop last week, and one of the employees ran and got him a coke, offered to let him go to the lounge untill he felt better. They got him something to eat, and even made sure he got to the car okay. Now this is what you call service of your employees. You are very lucky to have this type of employees. Every time my hubby goes back in they ask how he has been feeling. So courteous,friendly and thoughtful. So keep up the good work.
Why would anyone go anywhere else to purchase cleaning supplies? I can get every thing I need from dishwasher detergent to laundry detergent to commode cleaners for MUCH less than any other local store. The Madison Heights, VA store is well stocked. And they often have items on special sales, saving me even more. I just wish a Dollar General were closer to my house. Thanks for reading. But finding the survey is impossible, and I don't think anyone ever actually wins $1000.
I love shopping at Dollar General. It never ceases to amaze me how you can sell the same things in the same sizes as the grocery stores and sell it at such cheaper prices--at least on most items you carry. Some of the newer stores are just really nice and inviting. I like the fact they are so convenient--almost one on every corner and even branching out to country crossroads, etc.

I have a reciept here that says I paid $2.95 for a bag of cheeto's that has $2.49 from rhe cheeto company printed on the bag. I believe that is price gouging. right
Frist I must say I had never been in the dollar general stores, I walked in with a friend to browse. The Dollar General Store I visited for the last two days, was excellent the manager on duty took time out to help me find everything I needed and even helped with items on sale I wasn't aware of. I shop at general dollar because I like the merchandise. Most of all I like the people who work at our local store, I was there today and the cashier there was so friendly and helpful, and kidded with me a bit, you don't get that in any other stores in town. Their friendly enough but it seems like it's a job to them, the lady that was at our store was fun, friendly and I consider that when I go shopping.

The store 4885 the employees that work night shift are very helpful and pleasant. And the store always looks clean.
I love the store by Publix and Winn Dixi. I work all day and they stay open until 9:00 at night. The cashier Colene is very friendly and helpful.She always has a smile on her face.
Since becoming disabled and now on a fixed income, DG has been a blessing. The prices are so reasonable and they have a lot of the products I use. The stores are always clean and the cashiers are always friendy.
